Ugh. Agreed.

This one hurts.

Such a huge fan of a lot of his work. Mulholland Drive is one of the biggest mind Fs in cinema history still debated to this day. But in style he is almost unmatched today. Only maybe Fincher and Nolan come close in style and substance.

While I admire how he was so inventive and unique I remember going to see "Eraserhead" in the 1980s at the River Oaks theater. That tops my list of worse movies I have ever seen.

He was a one-of-a-kind original. My favorite memory of him is in Twin Peaks as Agent Gordon Cole when he meets Shelly Johnson - such a wonderfully sweet scene.
