I liked it. I enjoyed the reveal going back to the train and I thought the Linus stuff with his parents was awesome.

I didn't love the Tess looks like Julia Roberts bit or the pretentious criminal mastermind foil. But whatever.

Should be back in Vegas though for 14.

14 could easily use some from 8 to fill out the 14. I wouldn't mind that crossover. Not sure how everyone feels about 8 but since my daughter was in it (as an extra in the Met Gala scenes) I personally love it.

We already broke the female barrier with Tess in 12.
She was dropped and Benedict and Roman (Eddie Izzard) made 13.

With Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner now deceased that would drop us to 12 potentially if Tess were back in. Or 11 without her. Need 2 or 3 more to make in that case. Or the core group from 11 has 9 left and you need 5 more if not including Benedict and Roman and Tess.

Of the ones from 8 I would love to see the characters played by Bullock (Debbie Ocean)and Blanchett (her partner) again. Maybe Paulson too (suburban mom and fence). Hathaway (the pretentious actress) I think is too similar to what Julia/Tess bring. And the others not so much - Kaling, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Bonham Carter were pretty one dimensional (you could say that of all the Oceans characters I guess but they just did not interest me as much).

I really did not like it the first time I saw it but it has grown on me after rewatching a few times. I agree on the gimmick of Tess looking like Julia Roberts. That was incredibly dumb.
