Anyone have specific experience? Looking at potentially season tickets at the upcoming 2025-2026 lineup. Just something different to do; wife and I both enjoy this type of thing.
TIA!

We've never done season tickets…only standalone shows. My wife isn't as much into classical music as me, but she'll go with me if they're playing one of my favorites. If you enjoy symphonic/classical music you will love it…it's a professional orchestra in a world class venue. If you don't enjoy the music you will be bored.

Thanks, we would definitely do the Pops shows. Seems like a fun lineup. I may just do standalone this coming year and see how it goes. I am guessing the savings for season tickets would basically give you one free show out of the 6.

I've been and really enjoyed it. And I'm not a huge classical music fan.

They also have a series of shows called "Concert in the Garden" which occurs during the late spring / early summer over several weekends in the evenings at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. It's BYOB and food (although, they do have food/drink available for purchase there). We've always enjoyed spending an evening in the garden, under the stars, listening to the FWSO. The shows are followed by a fireworks show.

We had season tickets for about a decade. I'm not a huge fan of Spano's choices so we let them go a couple of years ago, but still go to select concerts.

Great orchestra in a great hall. My son studied with Ed Jones, principal tuba. And Kyle Sherman, principal trumpet, is a native Texan and a great guy.

On pause last year and against this year in the gardens as they await a new stage to be built.

Don't skip the symphonic shows! I love the Grieg and Chopin #2 piano concertos in particular. The opening program features Grieg, Sibelius' Finlandia, and Brahms' 4th symphony. That's a top notch program, don't miss that.
