My dad and I used to watch JAG together when I was in high school, so when I saw it was on Prime Video, I decided to give it a whirl.

Holy crap.

I never realized how much cheese was in that recipe. But boy it's still been fun to watch.

What are some other shows that you've encountered that are fun to watch despite lousy acting, unbelievable plots, etc.?

I had a weird confluence with Saved By The Bell.
Whether it was turning it on and seeing Zach and Slater fighting over a girl I went to high school with (didn't even know she was in Hollywood). to Screech wearing a very unique shirt I had at the time . Seeing that shirt was both hilariously cool and tragically uncool all at once. I just went down a rabbit hole trying to find it to prove I wasn't wrong for having it, but can find it. I will swear by it still.

Whelp….my dad really hated Captain Planet when I would watch it growing up……never understood why until I got older….

So I'd probably feel the same way about it now like he did …..but with fond nostalgia at the same time

Nash bridges. I was living in Brussels and watched a lot of Dutch TV. This was on all the time.

Many have been mentioned already, but I'll add Silver Spoons and Alf to the list.

In the late '80s, there was a show in syndication called "The New Gidget," based on the famous character.

It starred Caryn Richman, who I thought was super cute.

It aired Saturday afternoons around 4 p.m. or so. I would work around the house/yard all day and then come inside and crash in front of the TV, and it was always on. Dumb sitcom but those are right up my alley.

I think you mean Down to Earth. It was a woman trying to earn her wings to be an angel as a housekeeper.

Pretty much any extended series on USA would qualify here.

Space 1999.

I found it online about a month ago and watched the first episode. I couldn't get past that one episode. I remember when it came out and what I remember and what it was are two very different things. Campy, bad acting, bad sets. It was comically bad.

But it has the Eagle. Which was and is still very cool looking.
