Just got started but already trying to say this is supposed to be the Hill Country when it's clear filmed in New Mexico. Also keep saying Austin Water & Power. I work for Austin Energy even before it was Austin Energy it was City of Austin Power & Light.
Mucho austin

Watched a few episodes last night.

Kind of a Walmart version of Yellowstone.
Decent mindless entertainment
It's named after a town in far west Texas so not sure why it is being portrayed as "hill country"
Please tell me there's a special place in Heaven for Aggie fans! It's like we are living some sort of penance on Earth.

My husband paused it after about 15 minutes and said this is the bootleg version of Yellowstone and Friday Night Lights.

It was absolutely terrible.

unfortunately have to agree with this synopsis

had a lot of potential with Minka Kelly and Josh Duhamel who do have good chemistry together

but of course the female writers and producers who were leading this series messed it up

with the way they want to believe that men talk and act.

Agreed. Some of Staten's decisions at the end of the season are unbelievable in regards to Quinn.

Yeah only scenes worth watching were the ones with Quinn, Ellie, or the ex-wife.

Late reply to this thread, but we just finished it. I've driven through that area so all through the show I would ask my wife "wait it's nothing like that, right?" (She graduated from Slaton)
