We're going to see it later today and pretty excited to take the family on Holy Saturday. Reviews were mixed - 65% on RT, but 98% on Audience scores.

Need more of this.

It's such a shame there aren't more movies like this. To this day, I think the Prince of Egypt is one of the best animated films with some of the best music. Then you see the talented actors voicing all those characters and it seems crazy that we got such a great movie from Hollywood back then.

Audiences need to show Hollywood how marketable movies like this are.

ETA: Also, a score in 60's from the critics for a biblically based movie is pretty good and what I would expect.

Overall, I greatly enjoyed it. The art style of the people was a little distracting and not my taste overall, but the backgrounds and everything else was stunning.

Oscar Isaac did an excellent job voicing Jesus.

It was definitely an interesting take showing the gospel as a story Dickens tells his son. It's a perfect representation on that head of the household being the spiritual leader of the family.

Im hyped. My mom is taking my kids tomorrow since they are out of school, but I have to work.

Wish I could go, but my 6 y/o daughter told me if its good she will take me back to see it this weekend.

He Is Risen!

My wife and I took our two sons (2,6) last Friday. They loved it and I thought it was well done. Oldest cried at Jesus on the cross but understood why he had to die.
