My good friend from high school is in this. Very happy for her, she's been grinding for over a decade and this is by far the biggest project she's ever landed. (She was also the deputy in Hunting Wives.)

She plays the secretary.

The original "Spider" was a noir pulp character created in the 30s long before Spider-Man. This is an interesting crossover.

For anyone who doesn't know this character, from Into the Spiderverse, do yourself a favor and watch both Into the Spiderverse and Across the Spiderverse.

The best Spider-man movies we've ever had, imo, and two of the best animated movies from the last 20 years.

The third movie taking so long to come out is incredibly frustrating. Those first 2 are off the charts for me and mine.

I'm intrigued!

And the final spiderverse movie is supposed to be out in just over a year, June 2027. I cannot freaking wait to re-binge the first two with my kids and then go see the final one at the theater.

Looks like a blast. I haven't even watched the trailer for the new MCU Spiderman movie due to how little I care, but this looks like creators actually taking risks. I'm loving how hard they are leaning into the noir.

I've already gotten my noir Batman, and it was incredible. Can't wait for my noir Spiderman!

Wonder if she's enjoyed working with Cage. Rumors I always heard back when he was in his prime was that he was hard to work with…but more so just because he took his work really seriously and was just more of a no-nonsense type of guy, which I can respect.

Curious to know if he's lightened up over the years given the movie roles he's been doing over the last decade.

I am loving this authentic noir vibe. Feels like it actually could've come out in the 1940s.

I dug the first episode. Didn't know Brendan Gleeson was in this. Great actor.

I watched the first episode in black and white and started it over in color. Absolutely no doubt this is meant for B&W. Was even watching with my 14yo and after a few minutes in color even he goes "Its way better in black and white."

Thank you for sharing! Yup heard that he's always prepared always professional.

The withdrawn stuff doesn't surprise me either. He's got no social media presence of any kind and outside of films avoids the public eye. His Wired interview was actually pretty cool shows a lot about his character.
