It's a Fathom event back this weekend for Father's Day. Finally get to take my kids to an Indy movie in theaters.

There was an Indy movie literally two years ago, but I get it - the Dial of Destiny was not peak Indy.Sapper Redux said:

I really, really enjoy Dial of Destiny, but because of family issues (and my youngest was too young), I didn't get to take my kids.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:There was an Indy movie literally two years ago, but I get it - the Dial of Destiny was not peak Indy.Sapper Redux said:

Of my three favorite movies, Raiders and TLC are neck and neck behind The Empire Strikes Back. After the Temple of Doom, bringing in Sean Connery as dad was a genius move. The movie is much more of a character movie than any of the others, and is the perfect movie to see with your kids on Father's Day.
I thought it was a lot of fun, especially when they revealed they had killed Shia LeBouf in Vietnam.Sapper Redux said:I really, really enjoy Dial of Destiny, but because of family issues (and my youngest was too young), I didn't get to take my kids.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:There was an Indy movie literally two years ago, but I get it - the Dial of Destiny was not peak Indy.Sapper Redux said:

I won't say it's better, but I think it's more entertaining and re-watchable than Raiders.

The opening de-aged piece and the giant swerve with the time machine was great.
Plus it was a good preview of the eventual Star Wars movie featuring de-aged Han Solo vs Mikkelsen's Thrawn
