When I'm home alone I like to watch Moonfall. It's stupid and silly but damn if I don't love it. It's got some great special effects and audio effects.

If you have'nt watched Palm Springs do yourself a favor.

It's got a great premise and very funny. Jumps right into the middle of something but about 15 minutes into it just goes off the rails in a good way.

I saw it a few years ago. I loved it. I don't totally recall the premise but I know I liked it. I think I'll watch it again.

That movie is hilarious. Became more hilarious when I found out that Eurovision is a real contest.

Some sisters I know who lived in the Netherlands during their teen years and attended high school in Belgium said they watched it together and nearly peed themselves they laughed so hard. It brought back memories.

I just went through the Bourne trilogy...still thoroughly enjoyed all three.

I put my list from the top 25 thread into chatgpt and asked it to make a recommendation for newish movies based on my preferences, and these:

Oppenheimer Nolan, serious, prestige, big-screen must-see
John Wick 4 or Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning modern action masterclass
The Nice Guys one of the best underrated comedies in your vibe
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse even better than the first
Dune for big, serious, beautiful spectacle

Consider that it's correct in that I loved Oppenheimer, John Wick 4, Dead Reckoning, The Nice Guys, and Across the Spider-Verse, I'm encouraged to finally sit down and watch Dune this weekend.

This was such a great little surprise of a movie. Not a long one but fully entertaining throughout. Also, love me some Cristin Milioti.

The Order (2024). Jude Law plays an FBI agent trying to hunt down Bob Mathews played by Nicolas Hoult. Not sure about the historical accuracy, but it was a good film.
