Anyone else watching this? Surprisingly good so far with two episodes released and this is a Jason Momoa project that he's been wanting to do for years.

It's the story of the Hawaiian islands coming together after being a war with each other during the late 1700s; it's a cool story that hasn't been told much before.

I've watched first two episodes and enjoyed it. But not sure how much Jason momoa thong butt I need in my life.

Probably historically accurate as shown but can we get the man a loin cloth or something

This is next up in my queue, I've enjoyed the series he's headlined so far. The concept behind See sounded ridiculous but it was a really interesting watch .

We watched the first three episodes in under a day and were very impressed. The cinematography is stellar. We watched a behind-the-scenes segment about the historical accuracy, culture included in the show, actors, etc, and it's pretty cool how much the creator, director, Mamoa, and others put into this film from an authenticity standpoint. Granted, I know very little about the history of the islands, so it will be interesting to see what those close to the culture think about it. It's got some very, very graphic battle scenes- so be warned. For all I know, Hawaiians might think it's ridiculous and outrageous, but from what I've seen thus far, I would recommend this show 10/10. BUT if you hate subtitles, this isn't for you!

This. I get that the film makers want to be authentic to the original language of their characters, but it really takes you out of the flow of the visuals when you have to spend so much time reading the subtitles.

I have enjoyed Acapulco overall, but it seems like this season more and more of it is in Spanish and subtitled and I'm kind of glad this is the last season.

Enjoying it. Really like the authenticity. There are some Hollywood liberties with the story. Also, this part of Hawaiian history covers a 20year period.

That final battle in the season finale was BRUTAL, enjoyed the season overall, worth a watch
