I've always been good with the free tier. Maybe it's because I grew up in the 80s, and I'm used to it, but ads don't bother me. My brain just tunes them out. I suppose if it was an entire network of podcasts, I might consider it, but for a single show, Patreon had never seemed worth it to me. Does anyone on here pay for any entertainment via Patreon?

A couple of podcasts that have good bonus episodes. It's a pretty user-friendly app.

For podcasts or creators that I really enjoy I pitch in a few dollars a month. Well worth it for the entertainment they provide.

I pay for Comedy Bang Bang world for some podcasts. Well worth it to me.

I did it for a few months to read the rough chapters of the latest Dungeon Crawler Carl book before release. Cancelled after I caught up.

Still bought the book once it was released.

There's an author that has a science podcast i really enjoy. Seems like the least I can do is support it.
