I cannot believe nobody started a thread on this, unless search missed it.

I'm still watching it so not sure how it ends but it is a VERY well done drama of the US airmen of the European theater in WW2. The fighting scenes are intense and beautiful.

Highly recommend checking it out if you have any interest in WW2 or air warfare.

Generally, to find something with the search, you actually have to search for something.

Don't use the texags search, Use Google and search "Masters of the Air Texags" instead.

There was a thread on it. I was pretty active on it given my life long of WWII aviation.

I thought it was very well done. The characters were as compelling to me as were the characters in Band of Brothers and The Pacific. The combat was spot on, that while CGI wasn't ridiculous like Red Tails, and based on the vivid descriptions in the book (same title) that the series is based on.

My only complaint is they limited it to 8 episodes. Should have been 10 to give them more time with the actual air missions.
