Went through 11 pages, didn't see this talked about. Looks interesting. I like WWII movies that are done well.

Eh, I don't think it's too egregious.

To make it all about the weather report seems like a really narrow telling of a much wider and more interesting story.
They drew up fake plans showing the invasion would happen elsewhere and put them on a corpse dressed as an officer which they dumped at sea knowing that when it washed up on a Spanish beach, the Spanish would share what they'd found with Hitler, all in the hope that it would convince him the invasion would happen elsewhere.
They build a fake army with inflatable tanks in east Britain and deployed Patton there as a decoy.
They turned a number of German spies into double agents to feed fake reports back to Berlin.
All to make the Germans think the invasion would land elsewhere.
The weather report seems kind of small and boring compared to the whole larger picture of deception that went into making DDay a success.

Yeah, kinda wondering what all sub plots there will be to keep it interesting.
Also I think Netflix did a movie about the plans on a dead officers body. Operation mincemeat, I believe.

In the seventy two hours leading up to D-Day, all the pieces are in place except for one key elementthe British weather.
Britain's chief meteorological officer James Stagg (Andrew Scott) is called upon to deliver the most consequential forecast in history, locking him into a tense standoff with the entire Allied leadership. The wrong conditions could devastate the largest ever seaborne invasion, while any delay risks German intelligence catching on. With only his trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby to confide in, and haunted by a catastrophic D-Day rehearsal, the final decision rests with Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower.
With only hours to go, the fate of the war and the lives of millions hang in the balance.

In the final days before the planned Allied invasion of Europe in 1944, Royal Air Force meteorologist James Stagg must deliver a weather report to the Allied high command led by Dwight D. Eisenhower which will determine the feasibility of the planned D-Day.

I was definitely exaggerating. But Google says he was 170 pounds at the time. I'd be surprised if Brendan is coming in under 250.

Tom Selleck played Ike in a made for cable movie about 20 years or more ago. I was skeptical but he was excellent. Hopefully Fraser will deliver on this, but in the trailer his voice was pretty rough.

I like Fraser but don't buy him as DDE.

Agree. Ya'll will maybe think I'm crazy but I think Woody Harrelson would pass as pretty fair likeness for a movie.
