This drops March 10th. Loved the first season. Watching it again with the wife so she can get caught up. She knows nothing about it and loves it already.

I am SO stoked for this one.

I wanted to know the rest of the story and tried to get through the anime, but I just can't get myself to deal with an anime. I can't stand a single Anime trope. I hate the dialogue. I hate the overreaction of EVERY character to everything. I hate every fight lasting 6 episodes. I hate every character within 100ft having to react to and explain EVERY damn thing that another character is doing.

Why is anime such absolute *****

I'm assuming the manga isn't filled with that crap, as I assume it's specifically an anime thing. But I don't want to read a manga. I want to sit back at the end of the day and just relax and watch a show. I was very excited when they announced Netflix would be redoing the anime to be more digestible for Western audiences, but that seems to have fizzled out.

Enjoying the season so far three episodes in...the 3rd one could best be described as Kill Bill meets Deadpool and it's not what you think but you'll know it when you see it.

the guy playing Mihawk is absolutely perfect casting.

Need to finish the little garden episodes but they have made a massive plot altering change that means the live version is a completely different story

Finished E3 last night. I'm really enjoying the season, so far. The entry into the grandline was so freaking fun. Loved the whale storyline. And then Zoro's fight? Are you serous? They went all out, with that choreography.

Also, as someone who has only seen the first 42 or so episodes of the anime, the guy playing Mihawk is perfect. It's actually kind of eerie how perfect he was. If I didn't know any better, I would assume the anime character was based on the live action version.

Mihawk is my younger son's favorite character and he loves the way he's portrayed.
