Incredible movie from 2014 that I happened to run into this week while stuck in a hotel with horrible wifi. I was working so I kept it on in the background. I've watched it 2 more times since then.
It's a British film. Outside of a couple movies, typically not my cup of tea.
I felt like I could relate to the characters very well because I knew a girl that went through the exact same sequence of events back in the day as the main character (in the states, not the UK).
I could not stop rooting for her throughout the movie as it felt like she was never going to catch a break and still kept going on no matter what (like the person I know). The person I know had a happy ending as well so that really made me happy watching this.
