****! TexAgs lost my post. So I'll just write the short version:

If your dorm has a continuous Bonfire history, keep up the good work. Otherwise,

(1) Just because your dorm hasn't done Bonfire doesn't mean that you don't have any dorm colors or symbols. Look at your dorm's T-shirts for the past several years. Or at any banner you might have hanging in your trophy case.
(2) If your dorm is so 2%ish that you don't even print T-shirts, nobody will give a damn if your pots look wrong. Just pick a color, as long as it isn't red, brown, or yellow.
(3) If you want to follow tradition, you can follow the tradition of basing your pot design of the active dorm you're cutting with.
(4) It's Student Bonfire, not the Bonfire-1999-except-smaller-and-sturdier Historical Re-enactment Society.

BTW, sorry for not making it to First Cut; the blackout has ****ed up my last couple of weekends. Might make it later. In the meantime, BTHOB!

i dont know if this was meant to be funny... but it made me laugh

random thought while putting off studying for exams: anyone think that the TAMU-G kids that come out should do their pots similar, or throw on a navy symbol or something, since this is probably one of the only times they'll be able to work on it...

I know we have one on our crew and he's just using a standard painted loner pot in the meantime

I think something with maritime symbols on it should be good.. just my opinion

We have a TAMUG kid in McInnis now who goes out with us. Unrelated to pot colors, but it's cool that he wants to come out.

we have a tamug kid cutting with dunn, and he just got a car sticker of the clipper where the fish corps live down there (where he was living until ike raped them) and spraypainted his pot and peeled it off, so he has a massive ship on his. its pretty legit.

he started coming out with dunn because one of our 09'ers was in his boy scout troop.

btw dunn pulled second only to crocker today.
