I'm new to this forum so i'm sure its been disscussed but numerous times gates and even bowen said that once all of the bonfire litigation was over, which by my understanding it now is, the university would start considering ways to bring bonfire back to campus, does anyone know if murano has said anything publicly about bonfire? has anything new come out recently about is possible reinstation?

Litigation isn't quite over. The litigation regarding raising the liability cap is for the most part done, but there's still the actual individual lawsuits.

In 2003, Gates told me that the administration would wait until the litigation was all settled before considering the return of Bonfire to campus.

Until then, Student Bonfire will continue to perpetuate the tradition and pass down the how-tos. That's what we wanted most when we started Unity Project in 2001 and what persists today under Student Bonfire.

Thanks to all of you Aggies out there cutting, LOADING, stacking, and burning the hell outta Bonfire.
