There was something mentioned to the effect of "the university is so much more diverse these days [I'm] not sure how bonfire could work."
Well the way I see it is that Bonfire united everyone on campus: Corps, non-regs, band, black, white, north side, south side and whatever. Murano and officials should see it as a way to bring everyone together like it truly does.
I support bringing the exact Student Bonfire system we have today to campus at Simpson Drill field (Old Army site) and placing a "professional" to oversee the Reds/Browns. A professional who has Old Army (preferably a 'Dead' red/yellow/brown) experience.. not just some random engineer who shows up.
