depends on who you ask. fall was supposedly at 2:28, with the first call to 911 being logged at 2:42.
2:42 is official, but wrong.
I was at the field by 2:45 and stack had been down for at least fifteen minutes.
2:28 was the generally accepted time immediately after the collapse, and you'll find old news articles that use that time as well.
