Taken from studentbonfire.com:

"Bonfire 2009 has a new home. It is closer to campus and all parking will be on-site. Parking area is also increased to accommodate record numbers at Bonfire. NO BUS LINES!"

Anyone know more about this?

My understanding is its going to be off of HWY 6 and OSR. Supposedly you will be able to see stack from the Highway.

IHIOGA that the Stack/Burn site, still just north of the Brazos county line, will have the Robertson County fire department's blessing even in the event of a burn ban sitting on the area...

I may suffer withdrawls on my perimeter fires, but if this is true, and this site can suffice for years to come...this is a bit of wonderful news...

I am sure many have noticed this that live in CS but for someone who doesnt it was pretty awesome to see two Bonfire billboards in town. At pretty good locations too. Keep up the good work boys!

I saw one of the billboards heading south on 2818 a little north of Villa Maria. I was very impressed. This is red ass. Can't wait for first cut.

Oh, and Jayci, there may be a reason you haven't noticed them... CS has a city ordinance against billboards and there is only one in the entire town that existed before the law came to pass.

Gotta admit it will be sad to see us leave Pin Oak Road. Many good memories out there, seems like we were out there just yesterday bulldozing the site. Good times!

If this is true, then it it is huge for SB. I have always hated that we had to turn back so many people because of the parking situations. Good Bull

I'm sitting at the site right now. Cell phones actually work!

It's not the easiest to find, but if you work in the area (as I do) or know Benchley, it's not hard to find. (The three semi trailers are a give away.)

Something to keep in mind for November is that the road leading into the area isn't very good. Still need to go slow around there.

I'm not sure if Stack will be visible from 6, but Burn sure will be. Oh, and yeah, there's tons of parking.
