Hey look... it's another rookie trumpeting this 'petitition' that features no language detailing what the signer is supporting and has no privacy policy for the information being collected!
Keegan..... i concur with you about a privacy policy not that is a deal killer for everyone. I do know that the a privacy policy is forth coming as i have communicated this to the owners of the site and they agree.
Maybe a more aggie way of doing what you want is not to attack people but to make suggestions to the site as there is a place to do that. I think your comments are valid. As an Aggie id like for us to treat other Aggies with respect. I think everyone wants a safe bonfire if there is to be one on campus. I support the bonfire coming back and will leave the manner in which it will be built up to the powers that makes these type decisions. I was fortunate to have worked on it and would prefer student participation but thats not my deal.
Anyway again i agree i think with what i hope was your intent by your post.
It has no language, so while I want Bonfire back, I'm not going to sign it since one person's interpretation of what constitutes a return of Bonfire could be very, very different from mine.
And that's what makes the entire 'petition' disingenuous and borderline deceptive. It doesn't clarify that the supporters are implicitly endorsing a 'bonfire' bought by the school and built by contractors.
