Does anyone remember when Bonfire was cut out towards Hearne, this little podunk convenient store/grill about half-way on 6? Used to stop there every Sunday on the way back. Had the best chicken strip sandwiches (along with burgers) and onion rings, Big Red on tap, and sold Grizz straight for $2.75 a can. HEAVEN.

We always used to go up into Hearne to Johnny Reb's Cafe during spring chief fun time, their lunch specials were awesome.

We go to the Dixie Cafe after Hog Log

I have some delicious leftover chicken fried steak in the fridge
