I just heard from another board that Jackie Sherrill is speaking at a Muster ceremony. Has anyone given any thought to ask him to speak at Bonfire??? I know he loves A&M and loves Bonfire and all it represents. I never had the priveledge of being a student while he was here, but I've heard stories of him climbing up on stack and riding out on horseback with the Corps on March to the Brazos. It would be nice to have a former coach speak in lieu of Coach Fran and it would generate incredible publicity for Bonfire.

Someone on the football board mentioned that Jackie's son is transferring to A&M, so he could be a potential point of contact.

I think anyone who knows anything about A&M loves Jackie. Can you imagine the legitimacy it would bring to Student Bonfire with the Ol' Ags?
