Ok, so I have seen the statue. What is it about the statue that everyone just assumes he is a Red Pot??

Looks like a fresh-out-of-the box Schuchmacher random to me. Note the new, unpainted pot, bought simultaneously with the surplus combat boots at Sarge's. Jeans, intact. White t-shirt, untucked. He's pointing at the tree that he just hung, or perhaps at a Crocker boy (Possum, '94 for instance) having just stolen the d0ng pot and taking it up a tree.

Only thing that throws it off is the fact that his face looks 32 years old and he's wearing his '95 ring at cut site. That might just make him an OCA Hog.

At any rate, I think non-initiated folks just think "redpot" means "Bonfire Worker." As such I think I would name him Random Joe.

Which, incidentally, is probably a more meaningful symbol than some Hollywood redpot anyhow.

Not that I am criticising (much). I think it is great, but not a Red. Perhaps a good name is "Random," although "Hollywood" seems to fit the bill pretty well.

In my day, reds didn't have to have collared shirts on if they were working. I do think that they still had to be tucked in.

Maybe he's pointing to the top bunk & telling the freshman girl to climb on up.
