Bonfire-middle 1980's (1984 I think)

I am '03. I went in 1998 when I was a senior in high school. Very glad I got to go in hindsight.

02 - sitting with Jessie and some of the Neeley girls and Hart crew... and all of us whiping tears from our eyes. It tugs at my heart and I get choked up even now.

I was passed out from pain killers in 03 and in 04, I was too busy taking care of the stuff behind the scenes to really share too much... except for staying up all night after being worn out - talking with Ram, Jack, and Chance... and watching centerpole finally crack at 6 am. Sitting there in the peace and quiet in the warm glow... where thousands of people had left hours before, trudging through the slop and mud called Lake Student Bonfire... it was an amazing feeling.

Lighting Bonfire '02. That brought a lot of closure to some strong feelings. I replaced some old memories with good ones that year.

Drinking a Dr. Pepper with Levi while taking a lap around Stack in '02 is up there too.

Walking around the inside of perimeter for '03 and '04 before they were lit. The energy was/is unexplainable.

That was freaking awesome. Bailed out like on it was a grade school drill and pushed the thing out of the mud.

'03 part of the bus pushin' crew. My date thought it was pretty cool, paid off later that night

'08/2...watching stack burn with my good fish buddies, (albeit from inside out) then being named as a crew chief for next fall. Good times.
