Anyone know some of the old HHH Grode yells? Or some of the older Schuhmacher traditions from cut? Also what did the older Pots look like for the chiefs and yellow?

I can tell you that one of their traditions was to have several axes stolen, er.. borrowed by OCA!

I may be wrong, but I believe that the HHH pots were a bright green color with black writing.

Don't take my word on that, though.

I was in Schuhmacher in 98. Yells I remember are.

Schuhmacher Dongs, the bigest, the badest we fill em up.

Schuhmacher Sea men a pumpin and a screamin best F ing dorm on campus.

haha - I actually live in the old HHH party house over on Sibisa way now...LOL.

Back in 1991 - 1995 the first floor called themselves the "stealth dongs."

They claimed it was because "guests" (guys, most likely) could come and go with out being detected.

We knew that it was more like "Stealth dongs . . . she never knew we were in."

The two yells listed in one of the posts above were the two most popular yells. The most popular yell was perhaps "F%ck You Walton." We seemed to use that one alot. Those were the good old days. Bungee jumping dead animals, burning couches flying off the 4th floor, kegs in the showers. I miss Schuhmacher Hall!

HHH CC Drunk Pot '93

Turtle...yeah we use that FYW one a lot too...First cut went well for our first time out. We had about 12 redasses show up. We killed a decent amount of trees, but most of the time was spent learning. I'm really proud of the crew so far. They have put in a lot of good, hard work. I only wish that we had more fish in the dorm, as it is we have about 4 or 5 Male fish and about 60 Female fish. Most of the crew is composed of upperclassmen.

The day started out on a bad foot with us being a little late and my truck catching on fire. We were out at the unload site this last weekend. But throughout all that, we, along with Moore and a couple of CT's moved about 300-350 logs. We are hoping to pull a crew of 15 this next week. It would sure help us if some of you old guys could give us a hand and share some good bull with us. I am very proud of this years crew, they are a good bunch.

Forgot to mention... Schuhmacher pots were Gardenia Green, but it was discontinued. Had to move to FS925 (fluorescent green). Crew chiefs had a blue stars (using the old Astros star as a template) on the side and some other blue marks (depending on the pot). I don't have the mixture needed for the correct blue, but I could try to find it. They also used white lettering. The yellow pot used black lettering.
The Hoss Line (aka Clueless Pot) and the Yellow Pot used the same shape of pot. The Drunk Pot used a similar style, but had to be sanded in certain areas to get the right look (Turtle, correct me if I am wrong). The Puke Pots had a completely different shape of pot.

Badass...thanks for the pics guys...I don't know if this pic will post or not, but here is a pic of this years crew. Yarddog...As you may know, Hotard was shut down last year. About 30 Ho's moved into HHH...thus the reason for our lack of male fish. Roughly half of the crew is composed of Old Ho's. One of Hotard's big traditions was Hotard from Hell. Hell pot is more or less a nod to Ol' Hotard. It will probably fade out whenever the last Ho goes to that big elephant graveyard.

If any of yall have the old pots, and are willing to part with them, we would love to continue the old lines.

Just a tip that anyone in a co-ed dorm should know: If you get girls to go somewhere, guys will follow. Focus your recruiting efforts on the chicas.

WillD, nice pic there. What the hell am I doing on the ground?? I look hungover. I think that I was dead at the time that that was taken (despite the virgin stripe). Good stuff. I will look for some pictures to post.

oh wow thanks for the posts and pics, we have got one girl out so far and some more say they will go out but just havent shown yet.

id love to hear some more from yall and itd be great if you could come out to cut sometime or even just meet up at the chicken or somethin

Frick pots from Lechner and HHH had the same tradition regarding the skunk stripe (since Lechner cut with HHH before getting their Yellowpot)

The pot was unpainted except for a green stripe down the middle of the pot and a ring around the edge.

The fish that f*cked centerpole when it arrived got to get rid of the skunk stripe and paint their pots fully green, but the other fish had to wait until centerpole was raised, which happened a week later.

I don't know why this guy was wearing a Lechner frick pot (orange stripe instead of green), but you can see what it looks like in this pic:

Spraypainted flightsuits/jumpsuits were standard wear for HHH pots. Motivational stuff was spraypainted on like FYW or HHH or EAD (for Taco).

The four pots grew their hair out the summer prior to their bonfire year. During the first weeks of Fall Semester, the freshmen would grode the pots and pull them up to on one of the dorm rooms.

Then they would shave letters in the pot's head spelling out TAMU ussually using some of the free razors handed out when checking into the dorm. The Yellowpot was a T that was so f'd up it made him look like a rooster. I pretty sure I will get the other letters screwed up, but I believe it was: A - Hoss Line; M - Climber/Puke Pot line; U - Drunk Pot. The point was to motivate the freshmen so the haircuts were pretty damned ugly. I had so bad of razor burn my hair never grew back...

By the way, 3Ball, you are now head crew chief for bringing this topic to everyone's attention.

I need to get a scanner and scan a bunch of my Bonfire pics. I have some detailed pics of my pot that I will try and post. Also will post some pics of our messed up haircuts. Mine was particularly bad.
