I'm trying to talk my roommate (also FTA Class of '02) into joining me for Cut on Aggie Student Bonfire, probably this weekend. Doubt he'll come since the 'Stros are in the World Series, but I don't mind missing a game for Bonfire.

The crux of the problem is that I worked two jobs all through college and "never made it out" to Cut or Stack while I was a Student.

Anyone (O.C. Hogs?) want to adopt a couple of guys way too old to know next-to-nothing about how Ags kill trees with an axe?

I can get the info on how to get there from the site and we'll come with boots, pots, gloves, $10, Licenses, Lunches and water. Anything else?

I should've gotten in shape for cut. The Hogs stuck me under the heavy end of every one of the 50ish trees they killed on Saturday (not a bad number for having 14 people in the morning and 8 by 5pm.)

Monday I was so sore that I barely could reach up to wash my hair... but damn it was a lot of fun.

Don't let the reputation fool you, the O.C. Hogs are some damned fine people and good Ags.
