I saw an article in the Eagle about Hot Rod Hill being shut down. Is this going to affect burn night this year?

Bonfire is not a race, so I don't believe that this would impact Burn night. I will be present on Burn night to help ensure that Bonfire does not involuntarily donate to the "Wayne Brown Legal Defense Fund." This may impact Burn '06, but let's take this thing one year at a time.

This was also threatened last year (the suit was brought about this time last year I believe).

Well, I guess I am, but I am worried about making things work because we're not planning on it being shut down. And if it is, well... then... we'll figure something out. We're Aggies. We fix broken things.

That's why we're burning for a 4th year in 9 days.

Lets hope it doesn't rain and the dang fuel pumps work for once so we can get it lit on time and not piss the neighborhood douches off.

It was reported that they won't shut down HRH for a month, and Bonfire is safe.

I spoke to the constable last night and he said the ruling does not affect Bonfire.

HRH closes a week after Bonfire, after their last race, from what I understand.
