This is the 11th hour, but it is a chance to continue your great service to Aggieland. A chance to be the "first" of the former BQs to step up and add to the growing Bonfire. Bonfire never died, and now it is growing in much the same way that it must have grown decades ago- through baby steps, with great enthusiasm, from dedicated Aggies all over this magnificent state.

Years from now you can look back and say that yes, you stood where duty called, and were part of that first group of former BQs who, in 2005, stirred the hearts of Aggies with the sound we hold so dear. That once again accompanied the torches in the circling of the Stack.

This is great! I posted this idea a couple weeks ago, about how Bonfire is a student run and Former Student supported event. We don't need it to be on campus to mean just as much! It would be great to see old BQ's, Yell Leaders, players (maybe) and possibly a coach like Jackie to come speak at Bonfire. It can build back up to what it was!

Thanks for the responses. We'll need more I'm sure. I have not been able to attend to anything yet today, but I'll update those who have responded, and I appreciate the emails from those connected with the leadership.

can someone teach me to play something? I would devote a year to learn how to play the War Hymn.
