I will be donating on behalf of the fines resulting from Saturday's "burn". You mentioned that mailed donations are "preferred". Why is that? I usually make my donations via PayPal. I am in Washington state and figured PayPal is less time-consuming. Should I do USPS instead?

Paypal hits the group/person getting the money for 4%. That is usually why it is better for direct mail payments, but paypal sure does make it easier.
