Looking for thoughts, Scripture, or sources on the subject. The idea of being defined by our own minds goes all the way back to "I think therefore I am", but I'm having trouble finding good theology about the mind. Common wisdom in our culture is that we all have an inner world of memory and imagination that is uniquely ours, like we are the deities of our own imagination and thoughts. However, we also acknowledge that some thoughts and urges arise outside our direct control.

I've been pondering the issue since a thread a while back talked about Satan having internal pride that led him to sin and become evil, and I'm wondering if Satan has an inner world. Do angels and God have minds and internal realities? Do we? Happy for any thoughts or references
