Just kidding

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/biden-admin-settles-eco-groups-block-massive-oil-drilling-leases

Biden admin settles with far left eco groups to cancel Trump drilling leases on federal lands

Biden does not care about you or anyone not giving him 10%

And the kicker? Under the federal tort system I believe the environmental lawyers get paid by the federal govt to sue the federal govt. anyone else know how this works?

Guaranty that we are buying as much oil as we can from Russia right now too. Story earlier about Europe buying as much as possible before additional sanctions and Russian retaliation starts. If Europe is buying Russia oil you can bet Biden's handlers are loading up on it too. They have to keep the lid on gas prices for a little longer.

But Joe'ds stooges, ie the media, will tell you he is lowering gas prices. LOL, do we have enough gas to get deuce and halfs from Killeen to san antonio.

I mean he is helping bring down gas prices by running the economy into the ground.

If Brandon believed in global warming, he would let us suffer the high prices and rush us into electric cars.

Something stinks here. So Joe is going to save the environment, but knows high gas prices are going to help him get defeated. So he lowers the price and we burn more gas!

I have heard this before elsewhere. If I remember correctly the rate of reimbursement is fairly generous. At least when Dems/Libs are writing the check and actually encouraged the suit in order to do things like this which they wanted to do anyway.

It often takes years to properly explore and develop a large lease. Bidens cancelling leases or just not selling leases will effect us for years going forward. Biden is setting up the U.S. to pay higher prices and face possible shortages of oil and gas for at least 5 years. Biden is purposefully making the American people poorer and less secure.

Sadly almost half the people in this country fully support this happening.

Biden's handlers and everyone in his administration really hate Americans, don't they?

...but somehow I guess I'm supposedly the extremist threat to our democracy because I think the fed is too big, I want lower taxes, and I want a regulatory environment that doesn't punish and destroy the industry of our most valuable natural resources that fuel the world's economy and give us cheaper gas to get to work.

Sue and settle should be illegal. This is not good government.

I don't get why people root for high gas prices unless you have a career in the oil and gas industry.

OBiden's EPA Administrator announced plainly they put in places rules to exaberrate, make worse, the California energy crisis.

This policy making class is so due for a come-uppance it is hard to visualize proper form. It would be great if by some fluke they lose CA in the election as a result. That would make all what has come to now almost worthwhile.

Even people in the O&G business do not want the price to hurt the economy. They actually make more money when it is cheaper than it is now. People use more.

Exxon made record profits while gas was a whopping 4.90 a gallon in Texas.

I'm sure the O&G companies love it when the government actively seeks to dismantle the energy industry, cripple their ability to provide fuel for energy generation, then blame them for the lack of fuel for energy generation. I'm also sure that anybody who understands how oil futures work knows the facebook/MSM one-liners about record profits are non-sense.

Especially when the entire process is effectively coordinated by the same advisory NGO's for both sides with only the most superficial use of intermediaries to create the appearance of separation. It's unethical as hell.

This was due to the government messing with supply and Demand via regulation and the policies affecting inflation.

Due to long term economic growth and planned inflation, all other things being equal, there should be more or less record profits every year. That it happens should not be a surprise at all.

I think Saudi is finally going to pivot away from the "flood the market to kill everyone off" approach. In other words, they have realized after almost 10 years that higher oil prices are better for them.
