NPR is more interested in fantasy than truth.

To the progressive left, "disinformation" is counter-narrative. Fact, truth, data, scientific methodology are all irrelevant. In their post modernist world, you start with the narrative you want or need and back fill with confirmation bias and even propaganda and deception if necessary, because useful narrative comes first, above all other considerations, even if it is in gross and destructive error.

The whole "I'm telling my truth". They really think "truth" is not facts, but facts also incorporated with your "lived experience".

They are trying to lead people to believe that there exist multiple versions of the truth, except if it's not the DNC approved "truth", then it's "disinformation", and needs to be censored.

And her blatherings about truth sound like a bad philosophy professor trying to confuse and screw up her student's minds. All that "truth is relative" and "there is no absolute truth" or "truth may mean one thing to you and something else to another" is a lie straight from the pit of hell.

This woman shouldn't be anywhere near a government funded entity that disseminates news to the general public.

Psychopaths is probably a bit more accurate. Manipulative and detached from empathy. Supremely selfish and narcissistic. Sociopaths can be psychopaths but they are violent or offensive snd cause conflict and harm. A psychopath may also be much more subtle and manipulative. 2-3% of the population are psychopathic personalities. Some of course more moderate than others.

My contention for some time is that certain ideological systems effectively gather and elevate or promote psychopaths, or essentially create them from otherwise not clinically psychopathic individuals by taking other personality traits and manipulating them to achieve psychopathic behaviors in compliance with the ideological system.

For example, certain belief systems that make virtues of vices or sociopathic behaviors when done in advancement of the ideology, such as promoting and making virtue of hatred, oppression, and violence against nonbelievers or dissenters.

I'm so sick of the moral relativists they are hypocrites.

There is objective truth out there.
