Just want to point out that the beginnings of Fanni's downfall came courtesy of her affair with Nathan Wade, while keeping him on the payroll, paying him extraordinary amounts of money. He had to submit some version of time sheets to justify those payments. It was those half-assed hourly cost sheets that revealed their involvement with Smith and WH counsel.

Yup.

Well, she and Leticia, Jack and the two corrupt judges thought they were going to be these heroes (in their and the Democrats minds) that came in and 'took down' Trump.

Lots of problems with that though. Trump didn't really commit these crimes. They were also emboldened by the corruption of the DOJ and their own arrogance and bravado, accompanied by the Democrats in Congress as well as the lies and support from the mainstream media and blew up in their faces.

Also, during all of this, they completely kept ignoring all the crimes from Biden and the administration.

All of this was to keep him from running. They never imagined in a million years he would actually win again.

They truly believe in their heads that they could do this.

I'm enjoying every bit of it.

And she just easily won reelection even after all of that. Fulton County just expects their County DAs to be as corrupt as possible. The voters don't care.

Wade is up to his eyeballs in this. He did put in his time sheets that he was in DC. Fanni doesn't have to so closely account for her time but there are travel records and as the judge has ordered, communications that must be disclosed. Fanni has testified that she and Wade were not together in DC.

Georgia's state open records laws have a short time frame on them, unlike federal FOIA requests that can be strung out for years and years.

But still up to a judge to hold her feet to the fire.

BTW: Last I heard, she was still refusing to appear before a House committee despite being subpoenaed. Once Bondi is in as AG, they can do a criminal referral for contempt of Congress. So her problems will not go away anytime soon.

Yes. Selective enforcement by Garland's DOJ, as usual. Wade was running around for nearly a week to avoid being served his Congressional subpoena but the US Marshals finally caught up to him. He appeared in a closed door session and suddenly developed amnesia and couldn't recall much of anything.

Watching the Democrat house of cards crater before our eyes is better than I could have ever imagined.

By this point, I really do not believe Fanni is even smart enough to understand she did anything wrong.

What she lacks in self awareness she makes up for with sheer arrogant hubris.

I hope they already have some of these records so when she comes back with a whole lot of nuthin' they can flop some of these on the table and ask her why she doesn't have them. We know her morals are extremely flexible.

We knew there was an orchestrated effort to "get trump", just as we knew BIden would pardon Hunter. It is their way.

I would never count out Ashleigh Merchant's ingenuity nor her tenacity. If there is an alternate way to get some of those docs, she'd be the one to find it. Very, very impressive criminal defense lawyer.

Hope Trump puts her as US Attorney over the Northern District of Georgia. She'd be dynamite (although would likely have to recuse herself over any cases involving Willis or Wade.)
