• Abraham accords will be signed as Saudis and Israel to align against the threats of Iran and Turkey.
• Insurgencies within Iran will rise but I don't think they lose their grip yet.
• Europe continues to slide into leftist allied with Islamists vs. regular folks. High probably of first nationalist terror attacks against govt/Islamists in 2025.
• More marginal governments will collapse as food prices continue to rise because of fertilizer shortages and God help us if there is a major drought as it will accelerate the collapse and the rise of piracy.

I think I whiffed on all my 2024 predictions, so I'll throw some more against the wall and see if anything sticks.

1. Trumps tariff talk proves to mostly be a negotiating ploy. And it works.
2. DOGE efforts turn out to be a non event. A few departments or programs get eliminated or streamlined. Overall impact is likely to be exaggerated.
3. AOC becomes a much more influential figure in the Democrat party as the old guard gets shoved aside.
4. Ukraine and Russia start serious negotiations. Russia continues to cause havoc across the world and Europe.
5. SP 500 is range bound and remains +/-10% from current levels. Inflation remains an issue, do to causes that aren't directly tied to interest rates.
6. The shooting of the UHC CEO, and the MAGA dust up over H1Bs, leads to an emphasis on more populist policies than "conservative". National healthcare actually gains support. I think this leads to "something"
7. Online betting faces a ton of scrutiny and some states ramp up regulations. It's not the panacea everyone hoped for.
8. MicroStrategy stock loses 50% of its value and becomes known as the poster child for Bitcoin mania. Bitcoin declines dramatically as governments crack down on its use for illicit activity.
9. The "drones" turn out to be government/skunk works type projects.
10. Warren Buffett passes away. Berkshire stock spikes on hopes of a breakup/cash dividend. Neither happens.

My 2024 predictions were surprisingly on point as far as predictions go. Here's to hoping these work out just as well!

1. Trump's presidency starts off on a surprisingly moderate foot. Little to no effort is made to deport immigrants, infuriating the far-right.

2. The market explosion of the last two years slows to a more sustainable level, surprising economists, and the S&P gains -- while not negative -- float under 8%.

3. However, the market is still driven by the Magnificent Seven, whose AI infrastructure begins to come online, ushering in the first mass practical usage of the Technology Revolution.

4. Russia's War in Ukraine continues unabated, with or without U.S. aid.

5. The Detroit Lions win their first Super Bowl.

6. Texas A&M wins the NCAA Baseball National Championship.

7. Musk and Trump have a massive falling out, and the MAGA base turns against Elon.

8. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce break up.

9. Despite the generic annual cries of riots and economic collapse, neither materialize, infuriating those who secretly hope for both at the expense of Americans.

10. In classic James Cameron fashion, online media predicts Avatar 3 will flop. The film then becomes the year's highest-grossing film (released in 2025). Keyboard warriors sprint to computers to make Ferngully and Dances with Wolves references.

TexAgs has been predicting the stock market crash for years. Statistically speaking, one year they'll be correct.

My predictions for 2025.

1. Trump and Musk will have a major falling out. Musk will become a sworn enemy of Trump.
2. The Stock market will perform well. S&P 500 will be up 30% for 2025.
3. Trump will start the process of throwing out illegals, but will make a hash of it and it will be only partially successful.
4. Trump will only make minor changes to H1B and not remove the cap. Essentially things will be more or less the same, the numbers will dip but nothing substantial.
5. A&M will not reach the football playoffs. We will end up at 9-3 and barely miss the playoffs.
6. Oregon will win the National Championship.
7. President Biden will survive all of 2025.
8. ObamaCare is repealed. Trump has nothing else to replace that so it will cause a lot of heartburn.
9. Trudeau is kicked out as Prime Minister of Canada and Pierre Poilievre becomes PM.
10. People will get sick of "AI" towards the end of the year. Companies will stop throwing in AI in everything they do.
