Imagine someone witnesses a bank robbery and reports the robbery to you (as you are a person in charge of bank security). Rather than being upset that a robbery occurred, being upset at who committed the robbery, or wondering how the robbery happened, etc.. you are upset at the person that is reporting the robbery to you.

That is what the Democrats are doing with Elon Musk right now.

Disappointed Trump team wasn't ready for this. Dems used it last time and it was in the news that Elias was working Dem state AGs in December to plan the resistance.

Trump team needs a friendly AG in a red state in a friendly circuit to be ready to file suit against each Trump order. Then fed judge rules it's good, Dems stuck if appealed, and conflicting circuit rulings expedited to Supreme Court.

Use the deep pockets of the FedGov to make them piss their money in the toilet. The DOJ has more money than all those *******s combined.

And, with the spigot of free money being turned off, a lot of these people and organizations that are suing are going to start having a hard time finding the funding for litigation.

This also means they have less money to do damage in other ways because they're having to spend their limited budgets on witch hunts...

Appointment has a very specific meaning when dealing with the executive. It's probably best not to use that phrase when discussing this matter since it implies that Musk would need congressional consent.

The states being shocked about weekend work is so telling!

Chutkan is not buying the demand for extraordinary emergency relief. The states might have a case, she says, but not necessarily for an immediate restraiing order.

The states say Musk likes to work the weekend so he might cause harm this weeknd. Chutkan says that's not enough.
