He can disagree with someone within his own party and that doesn't mean he's not conservative. He's despised by more liberals than the alt right on F16. He should have stepped down years ago, but there hasn't exactly been a good time for him to do so.

Trump can be a vile person who loves to make enemies. It shouldn't be surprising that people he went out of his way to crap on aren't going to do Trump any favors.
