The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is reportedly working overtime on a "frenzied mission" to redact the Epstein files before they are released to the public.

The FBI is reviewing documents and other evidence related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein in order to make redactions before the Department of Justice (DOJ) releases them to the public, people familiar with the matter told CNN.

Due to the Trump administration's promise for transparency, coupled with public interest in issues surrounding Epstein's death and whether or not prominent figures could be implicated in the disgraced financier's alleged crimes when he was alive, the FBI is now "frantically" working around the clock.

Translatiom: "FBI on 'Frenzied Mission' to insert Trump's name into the Epstein files". FIFY.

Things I don't understand:

1) assuming the FBI and gov't are corrupt, why would any details that need to be redacted get put in the files in the first place

2) I thought these were already "released"

3) if FBI officials are frantically trying to redact information to cover up stuff, where are the 1% law abiding, conservative FBI people filming, recording, and whistleblowing this **** all over the news?

Both he and the AG were making rounds this weekend to inform the public the redactions are to protect names, addresses, and information regarding the hundreds of victims.

I am not weighing in on if I 100% believe this is the only thing being redacted, just that it was the reason given for all the manpower.

ETA: I am holding judgment until we see what is actually released, but I am still in the camp where you cannot convict someone for sex trafficking hundreds of underage females without convicting who they were trafficked to.

Why would that be true after Patel and Bongino are in charge?

If they are letting any Bidenite-era FBI agents work with the Epstein files rather than seizing them with their own picked men they are fools.

At least theoretically ---- as have never believed there are "files" with much to reveal in the first place. Why would such have been kept so long and not say over in Davos or somewhere just as out of reach.

Frankly agree with you. And like if Charlie ever kicked the football successfully, would toast it turning out otherwise.

In much the same category put most "brought to justice" scenarios where high government officials are concerned. Will settle for such no longer calling the shots and writing memoirs in retirement.

Keep in mind that redacting *could* mean protecting the victims, as Pam Bondi has alluded to before.

Whether that is a legit concern or just a cover story I couldn't say.

Have some patience. We have come this far. If they don't release the files any differently then we know the info will never be released.

Do "victims" include influential people who were "duped" into a Caribbean sex vacation instead of a golfing one.

It's foolish to think redactions aren't absolutely necessary. If it's true there's many victims and I believe there are, they must be protected from the left knowing that information. Can you imagine the witness intimidation when prominent people are indicted and the case is built around the testimony of the victims? Look no farther than Tesla to see how unhinged crazy and dangerous the left is to promote their ideology

I'm guessing there will be names redacted to protect the orchestrators of the whole thing (Israeli intelligence, etc). Sad if true. Hopefully there will be no holding back on the perps. But sometimes I hope too much.

Either way, Kash will know the names of the redacted. It's all on him.

Personally I think that Mossad, the FBI, and the CIA were all in on it with Epstein. I think they used the island to get dirt on the rich and politicians to use against them. I think that's why they don't want to release this information. It will put them compliant with using underage girls to do this.

It should be easy to tell from context of the redactions are disguising perpetrators or conspirators, or if they are hiding victim identity. Patience. Wild conjectures is pointless right now.
