I think we are going to see a lot of test balloons of potential presidential tickets in an effort to see what combination is able to draw the biggest crowds (paid or otherwise) prior to 2026. Apparently, the Democrats haven't learned anything and will hamstring their own primary again if they find a "winning" combination before the other candidates announce their intention to run.

They shouldn't judge by crowds they have paid to be there. That wouldn't give them any accurate indicator what's going to crash and burn. Not unlike the problem of paying someone to write a good movie review.
