There was a time, a long time ago, that you could not drive down a highway without seeing the tape from an 8-track strewn on the roadway.

My dad is retired Navy. We had five multi-day transfers. Some of them were passed with 8 tracks, others with cassettes. When I got out of the Army in 1991 I had purchased a Sony Discman and a cassette adapter so I could play it in the car. I passed that multi-day drive home with CD's. Best part? All mostly the same music. 60's and 70's rock. I had my share of 80's rock and rap in addition to the classic rock but I had a ton of the classic stuff.

Slightly OT but back when we had Blu, I made some red eye gravy and The Hubs gave Blu his leftovers...with the gravy. I'm cleaning the kitchen and The Hubs comes in saying that Blu is acting weird. I walk into the ManCave and Blu's eyes are wide and he's panting, wanting to go outside. Saw The Hubs' plate on the floor, licked clean.

"Red eye gravy has coffee in it. He's caffinated. Let him run it off.' I was forbidden from making Red Eye Gravy after that. (And I liked it with breakfast ham and eggs!)

Miss Hawg,

There is no 'late' on the Sunday Funnies. Glad you could make it and I'm happy I could get a spit take! My babies had a great weekend. I cut up an entire Costco whole turkey breast for them and spaghetti with meat the rest of the way. Ruby and Babe absolutely love each other. They are under my computer table right now sleeping side by side. They are inseparable which assures me that she is safe when I'm not around to supervise.

I hope you and the hub had a great Thanksgiving. Thanks for your warm words on a cold evening.

rocky? Just took a bad fall. Left hip and back. The Hubs had to pick me up and I won't be around for awhile, I think. Pain is very bad. Ice not helping.
