Looks great.

Although, it makes you wonder if a poor like me with a BCBS PPO plan would qualify for a heart and abdominal mri like he had! Is that standard care once you reach a certain age or executive care you'd only get if you have a concierge doctor ?

If you were one of a handful of the most consequential people on the planet, you'd get whatever MRI you wanted.

My MRI is myself, if it moves and shouldn't I just take Advil and wrap the area with duct tape. I'm to poor for any of that fancy hospital equipment.

We get one every 5 years with our concierge doctor. One of the reasons why we do concierge.

I just wish Trump would stop talking about the cognitive test he aces and says it is a hard test. For those of us that have either administered them or watched loved ones have them administered, you realize it isn't a hard test to pass. Biden wouldn't have passed but Trump saying it is a hard test to pass discredits his mental acuity because it is an easy test.

Why on earth would what he rattles on about this bother anyone? It's just part of his bloviating which is sort of one of his core values.

Roll your eyes and move on. Folks should be used to that by now.

Pay cash and the price drops precipitously.

No joke. Called to schedule a MRI for my wife and the insurance rate was quoted as $1400, but if I just paid cash it was $500.

Depending on the insurance plan the copay and deductible could cost more.
We desperately need to get the government out of the medical field and scewing with insurance regulations.

ETA: IMHO this reeks of grift graft

When did we start using "grift" instead of "graft?" I've noticed it a lot lately. When government is involved, graft is the better word choice. Grift is small time, like a gypsy or the Music Man. Graft is more large scale, like getting a billion dollar plane from a foreign government.

Damn that Department of War getting a free plane instead of paying for one.

As an aside, it is interesting watching the media suddenly be so concerned about the president's health and cognitive ability. Wasn't so long ago they seemed quite remiss in covering this topic.

Trump defies all logic on every level. Here's an overweight guy in his 70's who eats McDonalds, drink copious amounts of diet coke, gets very little sleep, and has the highest stress job in the world. And he's doing great.

Based on the interaction with the reporter where he said something along the lines of "I dont remember what body part I had an MRI but it wasn't my brain" and then proceeded to brag about his cognitive test, my guess is they probably did take an MRI of his brain and I'd assume Alzheimers since his dad had it as well.

I, of course, pray I'm wrong as that's such a horrible disease.

He is certainly the most physically fit 79.5 year old POTUS we have ever had. Maybe the world has ever had, including Popes.

Thanks for pointing that out.

'Biden wouldn't have passed....'

Yeah. They thought of EVERYTHING when they (by hook or by crrok) foisted him on the American people.
He was 'insulated' beyond belief.
