I don't understand why she did the interview (actually series of interviews; it sounds like these went on for months).

She's by far the most experienced (and IMO most intelligent) political operative in the White House and the one that has been able to keep her name out of the media all this time. It doesn't make sense that she did this.

Has Wile come out and said anything specifically that was not true?

Or just the very broad and generic "its out of context"?

Not sure what she was thinking would be the result of a Vanity Fair interview!

I give her credit for being smarter than that. That's why it doesn't make sense to me.

Even conservatives within the Trump administration have not learned you cannot under any circumstances trust or work with the MSM in anyway. Shut them out. Give them nothing.

What are the many quotes? And I don't mean silly things like "acts like an alcoholic".

Speaking of her criticism of the administration. Has she said which are wrong? Again, I only saw that vague "out of context" comment from her with no explanation.

She spoke on the record, while being recorded with her consent, 11 times. This was exactly the result she expected and wanted. Her "protest" was just cover. She had her reasons for getting this out there, she is not stupid.

I already said that just gesturing vaguely to being out of context is weak sauce. You have to give specific examples of what was quoted, what the context was, and why that substantively changes the meaning.

Since you again just made a vague reference, I'm going to assume you have nothing and it's generally accurate, as many sources have confirmed already.

As with Trump and Woodward, they think they will be the ones to convince the MSM guys to tell the truth about them. McEnany and Perino, both former WH press ladies covered this phenomenon. Perino with VF and Karl Rove, seems like maybe Huckabee allowed Woodward (or more likely Trump did it on his own).

Its an absolute unforced error, but I don't think there was anything of consequence disclosed. More confirmation of what most people, even Trump supporters, think.
