One of the biggest irks I have about leaders, whether in business or politics, is a lack of transparency and reasoning for way certain things are the way they are. In my opinion, leadership has a responsibility to explain the decisions and directions they make.
Why doesn't the national debt matter? Why is it so important to import so many migrants from the 3rd world? What is the actual reason we might be going to war with Venezuela? Why could we not cut a lot of the waste DOGE found? These are a few among many questions. The point of this post, though, is that opacity is frustrating and makes people distrust someone.
Trump has success when he speaks plainly to regular people. Politicians, including Trump at times, need to just tell things straight more often.
