Swear I just saw two helicopters nearly collide over western round rock.

I dont know how to overlay these things on top of each other but they are nearly the same altitude and path. They came what looked like 100' or less than each other and continue to do it.

Someone help me out. Wth is going on

Collision avoidance stress test? IDK. Instructor in one and student in the other?

Seems like a poor choice over a densely populated area. Just watch their live tracker i posted. Elevation is within 25' feet and they are intersecting. Crazy

I agree. Seems crazy over a populated area, but it also is a way to teach visual ID at night against other light sources. I'm watching it. They are still at it. Like a game of chicken...

I figured out how to lay both their paths out while watching ot live and they definitely crossed less than >50' from each other, if not closer multiple times. Insane

Reminds me of the time I entered the Intercoastal from Espritu Santo Bay at night.

WOT heading toward POC. Thankfully, dude piloting the tug pushing a couple of barges shined his spotlight on the bow of the lead barge.

His running lights blended in w/ the lights of POC. I couldn't see him.

I was at the park with kids and saw the same. Really low flight through neighborhood. Didn't see or hear any police presence on the ground so not sure what the deal was.
