This gets us more in line with much of Europe. The other ones are still available if parents wish to get them for their children. More winning for Trump and the U.S.

Amen! Way too many out there and they play on the fears of the parents to get them to jab their children.

Insurance companies pocketbook just got fatter. Just that much less they will pay for but you know premiums aren't going down.
I can't say I really disagree with the schedule but I really hate insurance companies at the moment

O'Neill: "They went from 23 doses for 7 diseases in 1980 to more than 80 doses for 18 diseases!"

This is less shots, so less money

The wallets got fatter when the tax payers started to cover the costs for Big Pharma being sued for people being damaged by the vaccine side effects. Over a billion dollars

This is huge for young parents. I honestly didn't think this day would come. Now, the schools need to update their policy to follow the CDC schedule. No reason my son needs a Hep B vaccine to go to daycare.

My bet is most lighten their policies but still require flu because a segment of moms will complain loud enough.

Flu shot has never been required for school in Texas.

Insurance will still pay for all of the current vaccines.

Ya, never seen a school require flu vaccines. Still required and compulsory for military every fall though.

I don't think this is the case. Ours didn't get the HepB Vax and neither daycare ever had a problem with that.

Can we all take a step back and and just acknowledge how ruhhhh-tarded it is to advpcate for widescale Hep-B vaccinations for infants and small children? Actually, my fear is that it's more diabolical ($$$) than ruhtarded

The Mom's that ***** about required shots should be *****-slapped...I read nothing that says "you cannot take these 80 doses", only that they are not required...which means they are voluntary. Imagine that...a country that believes in Liberty.

The Mom-Karens just need to ***** about garbage pick-up or something just as mundane...
Freedom (https://ahdictionary.com/word/search.html)
Being free of restraints... ability to act without control or interference by another or circumstance... not bound by established conventions or rules...

* I can turn right from the left lane without signaling...
* I can hit you with a baseball bat...

Liberty is Freedom, restrained by rules, laws, The Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule

As a private business, can't a daycare still keep their own requirements?

Interestingly, dropping the Hep B from the infant schedule takes away the greatest gateway to "anti-vax" land. The more reasonable the schedule seems, the fewer will question it.

I'm in a weird spot where I want high skepticism of the CDC to continue given their track record of corruption and lies, but I don't really know how to feel about the respective vaccines. I expect some are net benefits while others are net detriments, but lack access to trustworthy data on which to solidify an opinion as to which are appropriate and in which scenarios.

ETA: I also distrust the Europeans, so I'm not sure I fully love the "aligning with their consensus" approach, but it does give the admin significant top-cover for this specific change.
