US marshals have joined Albuquerque local PD in a search for Timothy Busfield. An arrest warrant was issued on January 9, 2026, by the Albuquerque Police Department in New Mexico, charging him with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse. The allegations stem from claims by two 11-year-old twin brothers (child actors who appeared on The Cleaning Lady), who say Busfield inappropriately touched them on set between around late 2022 and spring 2024. One boy reported incidents starting when he was 7, including touching private areas, leading to diagnoses of PTSD and anxiety for at least one victim. The boys reportedly called him "Uncle Tim," and there are claims of grooming behavior, such as ending on-set iPad monitoring for parents after he joined the production.

When kids in Hollywood are abused someone needs to hold everyone around them responsible. Busfield is accused of walking an into a makeup trailer and kissing a boy while the minor was getting a haircut. I want to know who that stylist was that saw that and didn't report him.

Melissa Gilbert also better lawyer up as she can be accused of assisting in the grooming of the two boys for buying them Christmas gifts and fostering an environment that allowed her husband to abuse them.

I saw this on a podcast the other day

I used to religiously watch "Thirty Something" back in the 1980s!!

how is he the only one who actually had a career after this hit show?!?!

Loved that show! I cried when they killed Gary off. Polly Draper and Patricia had acting careers but the rest of the cast went into writing or directing behind the scenes.

I've lived the life as a parent in Hollywood. If you're a parent, you would not believe what other parents are willing to tolerate in order to get their kids "in the business".

It's sick and I'll just leave it at that for now because I'm too bummed out (about the loss of Scott Adams and some other stuff) to bring all the receipts at this moment.

Who do you think they're hiring as stylists? Not exactly members of The Junior League.

More likely, someone who is "an Ally" and needs the $400/day gig so she can pay her half of the rent.

I've got friends who have done hair and makeup and it's every bit as competitive as the child star market.

Hollywood is a cesspool of people who can be replaced at the drop of a hat by the next semi-qualified / semi-skilled person waiting in the wings. Nobody is going to be a whistleblower.

Yes I believe she has directed a couple of films.

He turned himself in to NM authorities. He claims he traveled NM and hired a lawyer the day after the charges were announced and that he is innocent. Strange that he wasn't in contact at all with the police looking for him.

I would bet he has spent the last 48 hours ditching every electronic device and hard drive he has touched over the last few years.

I'm not here to explain diddly squat. It's 2026 and there are some vindictive, nasty people out there, especially in Hollyweird. Many a criminal indictment has been issued without all the evidence on the table, and the law is going to take this seriously from the beginning with kids involved (as it should).

He said he denies the allegations. He talked to the police during the investigation and told them the kids' mother was upset about them being recast on the show.

I've never seen the show he worked on but it looks like it was a pair of twins who were playing one character. Initially the allegations were consistent with tickling or leg touching, which the studio became aware of and supposedly could not find corroborating evidence after interviewing witnesses (I don't trust their investigation). Then after a visit to a counselor one of the boys told them it was more serious molestation involving his private parts, over the clothing.

I think we can safely say pedos, creeps and predators have used religion to shield themselves from justice for eons. Hell, there are even religious texts debating when it is ok and not ok to molest and rape children, but of course that is all in theoretical what-if scenarios. And if you try to interpret or question why this garbage was ever debated in the first place, you aren't smart enough to understand any of it because you never studied or debated it.
