I think you are right.

Dr Verma knows the truth. But she is afraid of getting canceled. Pushed out of the woke cult. I am sure if you talked to her in private, she would be more logical and sane.

If she is that adamant about not providing an answer to likely one of the most direct questions to be asked, I'd imagine she would compromise her ideals in other very important life decisions that could affect patients. Pretty scary.

I know that's the record, but every time they take the 20, some fraction of their base moves towards the right in the Overton window.
