Today was his return and I was curious if he had anything interesting to say on his show

In the shoe description he mentioned recapping his year as Deputy Director of the FBI, and what he saw on the other side

I guess Dan Bongino will go back to doing what he does best….talking about all the problems. He was an abject failure at actually fixing any of them.

There was a great unhinged rant from President Trump where he said we must nationalize elections in 15 states.

Well, he was an NYPD officer to start his career before becoming a U.S. Secret Service Agent. Both law enforcement careers before going into the media as a commentator and expert on……law enforcement.

So when asked to take on a deputy role in the federal governments top law enforcement agency, that's not as far fetched as your intellectually dishonest quip would let on.

Yes, forget the fact that he spent years in law enforcement and in the secret service before podcasting.

I guess you missed the part of him having a masters and having served in the Secret Service? I'm sure you have a much better resume.

I'm glad ree and tard chimed in.

Bongino worked as a police officer for the New York City Police Department from 1995 to 1999.
Bongino joined the United States Secret Service in 1999 as a special agent. In 2002 he left the New York Field Office to become an instructor at the Secret Service Training Academy in Beltsville, Maryland. In 2006, he was assigned to the Presidential Protection Division during George W. Bush's second term. He remained on protective duty after Barack Obama became president, leaving in May 2011 to run for the U.S. Senate.
Also in 2011, The Baltimore Sun reported that Bongino was the lead investigator of a car rental fraud scheme. His work contributed to two people being indicted on federal wire fraud charges.
Bongino was criticized by former colleagues at the Secret Service for using his Secret Service background as part of his run for political office and for his claim of having secret information based on conversations he overheard in the Obama White House.

A former colleague accused him of "trying to draw attention to himself and...hijacking the Secret Service brand." Bongino said he had access to "high-level discussions" in the White House.
Bongino rejected birtherism, the claim that President Obama was born outside the United States.

all that "experience" just to make it barely six months as deputy director before he started plotting his retreat to the safe haven of his podcasting studio. there's no more point in coping about his credentials, he failed. the haters were right.

That's immaterial. Lots of smart, educated well meaning people go to Washington and can't fix s*** due to all the red tape and entrenched beareaucrats.

DOGE was only successful as they were a completely new team of private company outsiders, and yet their job was to find the FWA but it was and IS still up to Congress to actually take measures to encode it and realize the savings, elimination of fraud, and eliminate wasteful spending and duplicate efforts, and so far Congress done absolutely nothing.

True, but most people don't make a career and a lot of money out of complaining about govt then getting a chance to fix the very thing you made a lot of money complaining about only to run from it. At this point he's no better than a drug company.

Life got real when he wasn't sitting in front of a microphone and had to deliver results as a leader.

What's he got to say about the Epstein files? His whole schtick was that he would reveal the truth if he ever had power. And then when he had the power, he got in line with "it's a hoax, there is no list."

So what's he saying now that he's a "free" man?

To a hammer, everything is a nail. People in the federal government, especially politicians, think every problem is for government to solve.

Think about it.
