This is what happens when too many congress members eat at Chipotle.

Visit DC, Maryland and northern Virginia during and after a snow storm. Despite centuries of experience with snow storms, they cannot seem to:
1.) manage to plow the streets in a timely fashion or
2.) put enough salt/ice melt down on the streets,
claiming that resources aren't there.

They have some of the highest tax rates in the nation. Used to have the best performing schools. Yet other cities at similar latitudes with higher snowfall totals seem to do just fine with higher educational achievements. They just happen to be located in red states.

This is the classical case of "The Owner" being too broke to fix the problem so they are to do the absolute minimum to be able to claim they are tryin while hoping the FEDGOV steps in and pays for ALL OF THE CLEANUP ABD MITIGATION WORK.

If I was Trump I would not help until they come back begging for help.

Pardon the pun, but that's crap.

San Antonio is just coming out of a consent decree with EPA over its broken sewer system. We ratepayers had to invest about $1B into bringing it back into compliance.
