I think that they believe the Islamists can be controlled by a carefully placed puppet ruling class like Mamdani and Sadiq Khan who don't care about religion, just power and will push a more secular authoritarian Islam (think Iraq not Iran) that doesn't take the West back back to the stone age but gets rid of all those pesky freedoms and rights the Globalists don't want.

Where did I say in my lifetime? "See the look on their face" is a figure of speech. The point isn't really to witness this; it is to acknowledge that the left is foolishly thinking they can survive in a world of fundamentalist Islam. It is a point of their oft repeated short-sightedness. I realize if it were to occur, it would be far after I'm gone. But, go ahead and skip that point and take it literally if you want to amuse yourself.

Pretty much any amount of resources thrown at the country are going into a black hole.

I do find it fascinating that it took African Christians to save the Methodist church (for the ones that wanted to be saved from left wing sacrilege horse****), so there is something there worth fighting for.

I just don't think boots on the ground are doing to do anything except get our people killed.

I get the point you are making but I don't think we will ever get to the day they recognize their errors. It's a slow creep and everyone will say they didn't want this despite their small parts and roles in bringing it about.

Agreed. That's my point about the left, they never see the damage coming from their own endeavors. Or, at the very least, their egos won't let them admit it, so they bury the truth deeeeeeep down inside so they never have to confront their own deficiencies. I imagine facing the firing line is the kind of moment they would have to admit the truth to themselves.

If you don't think the US Left would allow an Islamic empire to set up shop then maybe you don't understand the goal of globalism.

It's in progress right now all across Europe. It's taken huge swaths of Asia and Africa. Frankly I'm just surprised it's not more prevalent in South America. Maybe our blessed Mother really does protect the Americas. But the progressives don't care what goes up as long as they can tear down conservatives. They hope it's some kind of Communist utopia but that's just details to be addressed later.

Well unfortunately the African Christians were not able to totally save the Methodist Church. The denomination split over the past couple of years with the more conservative churches leaving the UMC and unfortunately the African churches were stuck in UMC because the way the left enforced or didn't enforce the book of discipline.

100% agree. I was just amazed how the Book of Discipline was disregarded or enforced by the left in the UMC. I found it very unsettling to see. I really feel for the African Churches because they were taught the scriptures and now the left is saying that's wrong at 2000+ years later and must adopt the culture of the time.
